Dr. Jeffrey G. Hopkin received his M.D at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas in 1983 and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Tarrant County Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He is a Physician at Upper Valley Family Practice, a free clinic for the underprivileged; he has practiced in Rexburg for 26 years and have been in solo family medicine with Upper Valley Family Practice since 2005. He added a special interested in functional or natural medicine in 2006 that includes special treatment of fatigue, insomnia, depression, hormone imbalance, infertility and gastrointestinal disorders and food allergies of all kinds. Dr. Hopkins has training in high risk obstetrics, ENT and diabetes. He is a former member of the AAFP and is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
